At Salem, I have the pleasure of advocating for women in the field of STEM by managing the IT Student Help Desk — a help desk that is comprised of young women who attend Salem College. These students are thoroughly trained on office, classroom and learning technologies, with the opportunity to use these skills in the field to support the Salem community.
Health-Related and Health Leadership Experience and Expertise
During my time as an educator, I have become a mental health advocate in and out of the classroom. I have helped students, faculty and staff understand the importance of mental health and implement lifestyle changes to improve mental health long-term.
Salem Through My Eyes
I love that Salem is a tight-knit community where students can receive more individualized learning experiences and faculty have academic freedom to tailor their lessons to their students’ needs.
