I cofounded the biochemistry program at Salem and currently work with colleagues to develop chemistry and biochemistry curriculum.
Health-Related and Health Leadership Experience and Expertise
I have taught Tai Chi and Qigong as meditative mind and body exercises to cultivate physical and mental well-being at Salem College since 2013. I have led a weekly community Tai Chi practice since 2019. My work was presented at the inaugural Tai Chi & Qigong as Whole Person Health Conference hosted by the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine – jointly based with the Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, in September 2023.

Fun Facts
I made a friend with a wild cat when practicing Tai Chi in my backyard in March 2023. The cat has taken her children to visit me every day since then.
