Allan Day
Graduate Clinical Intern
Allan is pursuing his graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wake Forest University and is under the supervision of Amber Kelley. Allan has experience working in the field of social services alongside a lifetime of practice in the creative arts (music, movement, writing, visual art). He has enjoyed working with children, senior citizens, differently-abled adults, and college students, both individually and in groups. Allan lays a foundation of person-centered practice to foster safety, support, autonomy, and empowerment with clients, allowing them to explore their thoughts, feelings, behaviors, values, and solutions in a collaborative, empathic, and non-judgmental space.

Biking, hiking, dancing, DJing, reading, meditating, and writing/performing music are some fun self-care activities Allan enjoys.
